• The episode of Scrubs with Colin Farrell is one of my all-time favorite things ever.

• I have gotten to the beginning of the Luke/Lorelai romance in my Gilmore Girls rewatch. I don't think I can overstate how much I love them together, especially in the beginning. There's just something about the way he watches her, with this smile like he can't believe how lucky he is, but also a little bit pleased/smug at how she responds to him and it's so sexy and HOT and glorious glorious payoff after seasons of UST and build-up. *___* I don't think I've ever felt so betrayed by a show as when they fucked that all up. (I probably won't rewatch S6 and S7...)

• Related to the above - I think I had a dream that Luke was my boyfriend (and/or I was Lorelai). It was pretty awesome, ngl.

• I have had an earache for the past day and a half, which is not awesome. I spent half the evening last night with the heating pad on it, but really, there's not much that I know to do. *pouts* It makes me grumpy.

• Oh! Oh! You know what else I love? What Not to Wear!! It is so awesome and fantastic and Stacy and Clinton are hilarious and sarcastic, but you can tell that they really want to empower people and it makes me all ♥___♥ Sometimes it makes me cry and/or smile a lot.

• Is it possible to get porned out?

• A friend came over Thursday night, and we watched Inception (FINALLY, okay?). It was conceptually awesome and visually very cool. I don't foresee myself becoming fannishly interested in it, but it was very enjoyable.

Okay, I think that's it for now. I need more coffee...

I was going to write a big post about why the moving process sucks - the transition of a space from your home to this chaotic, then empty place you're staying until you leave. But I'm too tired for that so I'll just stick with "Moving sucks!" As many times as I've done it, it doesn't ever suck any less.

Today I had to put whipped cream in my coffee because I am out of half & half. No milk, but I have two full cans of whipped cream. And randomly got the Picture Pages song stuck in my head.

Conversation I had with my roommate last week:

Me: The internet is being boring. It's like it knows that I have stuff to do and is thwarting my procrastination attempts.

Roommate: You should call the boss of the internet and complain. [beat] I guess you would email the boss of the internet.

Me: Yeah. The boss of the internet doesn't want to talk to you IRL.

SO, because I need the occasional distraction from packing- A meme!

I am three episodes from the end of S3 of SPN. I'm a little worried that I'll get through S4 before S5 gets here. Sometimes it's hard to be me, I know.

Ha! This morning I finally managed to shut off the smart quotes in Word. Why in five different places, Microsoft? Is that really necessary?

So I was woken-up at 9 a.m. by the UPS guy knocking loudly on my bedroom door (I have a door that opens out onto the front porch, right next to the front door, but it's partially blocked and clearly not the door one should be knocking on). So I get up to investigate and find a package on the porch. For the neighbor. WHAT? Everyone involved in that is now on notice.

But then my roommate made bacon and biscuits and jam for breakfast, so that was good. We live in Tennessee, this is a completely acceptable meal.

I came up with a fannish to-do list for myself yesterday at work, because I was clearly feeling overly ambitious. It is as follows:

♥ fandom version of the sunscreen thing Done!

♥ Sam meta based on the episodes in which ( cut for mild 5x11 spoilers )

♥ Write a full-length Dean/Sarah fic from this story (which I'm pretty sure is not at all what people were hoping for when they said they wanted more from the 'verse, but I'm kind of in love with the idea...) I think it would work well as a stand-alone, too.

♥ Make a S5 fanmix by assigning a song to each episode. The music I generally listen to is non-mainstream, alt.country, southern, Americana whatever, which lends itself surprisingly well to apocalyptic/religious themes. Go figure. *grins*

♥ Work out some of the logistics to getting started on my spn_j2_bigbang. Totally not freaking out about this yet. *koff*

♥ Answer comments.

I just need to decide on what to do first. Knowing me, it will be the overall least productive of those things. So, fanmix, I'm guessing.

Ah, Saturday. The house smells of bacon, my headache from last night is finally gone and I have the internets and a hot cup of coffee. For the moment, anyway, life is good. ♥♥♥
