Steak, you say?

This afternoon at work, Odious Coworker was talking loudly on the phone (this takes up a large chunk of her day, akshually) and she kept saying "steak". IDEFK what she was talking about because I try and tune her out as much as possible (self-defense) but she was all, "Blah blah steak blah steak blah blah blah STEAK STEAK STEAK and I was like, "OMG I WANT NOMMY MEATFOODS NOW!!!"

So when I got home I went to my across-the-street fancy, fabulous restaurant (where everybody knows my name!) and ordered fancy steakfoods to go, brought it home and changed into my pjs and had steaks and mashed potatoes on the couch whilst watching SPN again. Me FTW? I THINK SO!!!

I think I shall spend the rest of the evening snuggling in a pile of blankets on the couch and reading fluffy fic (J2 probs) until I am ready to pass out and then I will go to bed and sleep for approximately fourteen hours or so. \o/ It is, perhaps, a little sad how excited I am about these Friday night plans.

Anyway, it's entirely possible that fayemeadows has sold me on a new OTP: Dean/Ham.

Okay, okay, I know what you're going to say. Dean/Pie has been around since the beginning!! It's practically canon!! But you cannot deny the white-hot chemistry of Dean/Ham. I'm not saying that one is more right than the other, it's just a matter of whether you prefer sweet or savory. Dean was definitely digging the savory last night. In front of Sam, even!!

Now I just have to decide if I want Dean/Ham (Sam) voyeur fic or Dean/Ham/hand-buzzer dubcon...

Lolololol Dean/ham is my new OTP too! I screamed it through the house at my sister last night. She was all "YOU CAN'T SAY THAT, YOU'RE A VEGETARIAN" and I was like "BUT IT'S SO CANON AND THE PIE THING HAS BEEN BEATEN TO DEATH BY FANDOM" and she was like "O OK DEN."

Exactly. I plan on demanding Dean/Ham from fandom at large. Like, maybe now!Dean/ham/future!Dean. Or Dean/Ham/Bacon. Then maybe some Dean/Ham domestic fic, because that's always fun. You gotta mix it up, y'know?

IDK, I think maybe Dean will always come back to pie in the end. You know, because no matter how tasty the meal, it doesn't feel complete without the pie. But maybe Pie withholds its fillings for awhile? (OKAY, I CAN'T HELP IT, I'm a sucker for the angst!)

Yep, I just made a Cas=pie connection. OTP: dominating Vin's thought processes since 2008.

Clearly the only solution is to write Dean/Ham foreplay, and save Dean/Pie/Ice Cream as the ~main course~. Because we all know dessert is the whole point of the meal anyway.
