As it turns out, Jared's full of surprises. He ends up taking Genevieve to breakfast for their first date, because the morning filming is all Jensen and Misha. Genevieve isn't sure whether Jared knows about her love of going out for breakfast, or if he simply shares it, but either way she's a little bit enchanted.
"This is awesome. How did you find this place?" she asks after they've been seated.
"Uh, Welling, actually. Used to be a filming location." He grins. "It's no Cracker Barrel, but I figured it would work."
Genevieve ducks her head and laughs. For the first time since meeting him, she allows herself to really look at Jared and acknowledge how attractive she finds him. Everything about him is ridiculously sexy and now that she's opened that door, she's thinking about all the scenes they've filmed. How easily he manhandles her and how very curious she is about how much of Jared he brings to the table in their sex scenes.
She realizes she's staring, and her eyes flick to the waitress walking by. "Is it just me, or is everyone on the staff here ridiculously attractive?"
Without even looking around, Jared winks and says, "Can't say that I've noticed."
Which is really more charming than it should be. Not that Genevieve is dumb enough to buy into his lines, but she's got to admit, he's good. "Speaking of ridiculously attractive people, I think you're right about Jensen."
Jared's grin falters. "What about Jensen?"
"About everyone wanting to fuck him. I mean, I'm pretty sure Misha wants to fuck him," she says and then winces when she realizes that their waitress has chosen that moment to appear with their coffees.
Luckily, the chick is a pro and doesn't bat an eyelash as she sets the mugs down.
Jared, however, looks mightily appalled and for once Genevieve can't tell if he's for real or just goofing around. "You know, I don't really want to hook up with Jensen, right?"
This makes Jared laugh. "Gen, if I were jealous of Jensen, I would have gone crazy years ago." He takes a sip of his coffee and tilts his head. Looks at his cup like there's something floating in it and asks. "Did Misha say something?"
"Um, not explicitly, no." The overly nonchalant expression on Jared's face makes her feel like maybe there's more to this than she originally thought. "This is just from my own observations, but I think that Misha actually, y'know. Likes him."
Jared considers this. "So you don't think he's fucking with him?"
"Oh, no. Misha's totally fucking with him." She shrugs. "It's Misha. Why? What are you thinking?"
"Well, on the one hand, I kind of owe Misha for something. On the other hand..." Jared looks pleased in a way that is bad news for somebody. Probably Misha.
"What?"
"I don't know, it's just funny." Jared shakes his head. "People tend to severely underestimate Jensen."
Before Genevieve can ask, the waitress is back to take their order and she realizes she hasn't even looked at the menu. Jared continues to look very very pleased as he orders his breakfast and she hopes that she didn't accidentally start something bad. Or, at the very least, that whatever it is doesn't get traced back to her.
She orders the eggs benedict, then laughs like a fiend when Jared mentions that he watched "Wildfire" in its entirety. She debates on whether or not to tell him she absolutely loved "Gilmore Girls"

It's just Jensen and Misha filming, which would be fine except that they're currently experiencing some technical difficulties, meaning that at the moment, Jensen and Misha are standing around while they sort whatever it is out. This gives Jensen enough time to think about whether or not Misha was coming on to him the other night. There's really no good way to ask that.
"Do you think us having sex is wrong?" Misha says suddenly.
"What?" Jensen is almost positive he didn't hear that correctly.
Misha tilts his head philosophically. "Well, people are writing Dean and Castiel porn, right? But if they're having sex with Jimmy's body, does that make it wrong?"
Jensen blinks at him, but Misha's expression doesn't change. "I can't say that I've given it a lot of thought."
"Well." Misha leans in a little closer, smiles and says, "Consider it for awhile. I’m interested in your opinion."
"Alright, guys," the director says before Jensen can answer. "I think we've got it."
Misha winks at him and move back to his spot.
Jensen spends the rest of the time trying not to imagine what kind of porn people would write about Dean and Castiel and fails pretty miserably.
What he needs is an outside perspective, so when Jared shows up on set, Jensen pulls him into his trailer for a powwow as soon as they both have a free moment. Takes one look at Jared's goofy grin, sighs and asks, "How was the date?"
Jared's grin gets bigger. "It was really good, man. I really kind of like her."
"Yeah. I kind of got that impression."
"Yeah." Jared ducks his head in an endearingly bashful sort of way and coughs. "So, uh, how was filming?"
"I'm pretty sure Misha is fucking with me," Jensen says without preamble.
"Misha is totally fucking with you."
"Huh." Jensen folds his arms across his chest. "You have good intel on this?"
"Female intuition?"
Jensen snorts. "Yours or someone else's?"
"Funny." Jared rolls his eyes. "So, what are you going to do about it?"
That really is the question, isn't it? "I think that maybe we've given Misha a false sense of how things around here actually work."
"Please, please tell me we're gonna fuck with Misha."
This right here is why Jared is his best friend. "Oh, we're gonna fuck with Misha."

Misha gets a sneaking suspicion that things are not going according to plan

Misha's particularly glad this week to see the backside of their filming schedule. He thinks that maybe he went too far the other day with the whole Dean and Castiel comment because Jensen has been sort of off since then, which ruins Misha's fun.
This is why Misha hurries to change into his civvies so that he can stop by Jensen's trailer before they all hit the bar. That's the story he's sticking with, at any rate.
Jensen's smile is an odd sort of sharp when he opens the door and gestures for Misha to come in. "What's up, man?"
"Plans for world domination. Happy hour. The usual." Misha tucks his hands in his pockets and looks around, as if he's never been in there before. "You about ready?"
"Just about. Long week, right?" Jensen frowns down at his t-shirt, which is plain and black and says, "Hmm." Then takes it off. Looks around. "Where did I put that..." Glances up at Misha. "You know, I've been thinking about our conversation the other day. Ah!"
Misha perks at that, wonders if Jensen has been thinking about the morality of Dean/Castiel porn. "What conversation?" He tries not to be too obvious as he watches Jensen pull on a grey t-shirt. He's been around long enough that a little bare skin isn't enough to get him all hot and bothered. Not even if it's Jensen's bare skin.
"The one about moves." Jensen looks at his shirt and smiles. "Much better."
"Huh?" This is not Misha's most brilliant comeback ever, true, but he's confused as to what conversation Jensen is referring to and, quite honestly, how a grey t-shirt is "much better" than a black one.
"You asked if I had any go-to moves."
Oh, that conversation. Misha grins. "Did you come up with one?"
Jensen cocks his head to the side. "Sort of. It's a little less subtle than yours."
"Do tell." Misha barely refrains from rubbing his hands together in anticipation. What has Jensen come up with?
"Can I show you?" Jensen wrinkles his nose in a way that Misha has heard other people describe as adorable. While he would not, himself, use this term, he's not going to argue with anyone who does.
Misha makes a "by all means" gesture with his hands and between one heartbeat and the next, finds himself slammed up against the only flat vertical space in the trailer wide enough to fit his body.
When he looks up, Jensen is grinning at him all self-assured cocky sexuality that Dean Winchester couldn't quite attain on his best day. Then Jensen's gaze drops to his mouth and Misha has about two seconds to grin before Jensen is kissing him hot, hard and filthy like back alleyway sex. Misha surges against him, more than ready to actively participate, but Jensen crowds him, full-body pressing him against the wall as if to say, Shut the fuck up and sit the hell down, this is my show now, which hits a kink that Misha was heretofore unaware of possessing.
Jensen's hands have dropped to his waist, are up under his shirt and this is definitely not part of Misha's game plan, but he's always been pretty good about being flexible and taking shortcuts to get what he wants and right now what he wants is Jensen. So he leans back to enjoy the ride which is on its way to being really really good when someone knocks at the door.
Misha starts, but Jensen just leans back like it's no big deal-- like he isn't hard and pressed up against Misha's hip and says, "Yeah?"
"Hey, man. You ready to go?" Jared asks through the door.
"Sure thing." Jensen winks at Misha and says, "Pretty good success rate. Y'know. On those occasions when my pretty smile just ain't enough."
Misha has no fucking clue what he's talking about.
"Ready?" Jensen's expression is far too bland.
"Yeah. Yeah, I'm ready."
He follows Jensen out of the trailer. Watches as Jared slings a casual arm around Jensen's shoulders and says, "I heard from the delightful Ms. Mack today. Guess what shenanigans Welling's gotten up to?"
"Don't tell me," Jensen says as they walk on ahead.
"Long week, huh?"
Misha looks over and is startled to find Genevieve standing next to him. "What?"
"Long week of filming?" She raises her eyebrows like he's maybe a little bit crazy.
"Yeah." He wipes one hand over his face and stares at Jared and Jensen's backs as they continue to walk away. Whatever is going on here, Misha is not the crazy one. "Shall we?" He holds out is elbow to Genevieve and she links her arm through his.
"We shall," she says.
It may speak to the level of Misha's newly discovered paranoia that Genevieve seems inexplicably amused.
