Cravings, Writing, and Girly Things

I'm currently trying to decide between taking a nap, or going to get coffee and a cookie. I don't keep junk food in the house, so I generally feel like if the craving is bad enough that I'm willing to get dressed to go out and get it then I've earned it, so to speak. It's also crazy windy here today, which is a factor.

Against all odds, I managed to finish the first draft for my spn_cinema story last night, after over a month of horrible writer's block. I'm quite pleased with myself, ngl (Dear usual beta suspects, are any of y'all willing to give it a look-see?)I'm feeling ready to tackle that big bang now! Maybe after I get a cookie... (WTF, craving? GO AWAY!)

Last week, slodwick posted links to some tutorial vids from this site and they're really kind of awesome. I tried the peacock-y eyeshadow one and it turned out surprisingly well, as I was fairly certain it was a look I couldn't pull off. Anyway, the girly-girl in me was quite tickled, and I ended up ordering this eyeshadow palette from Sephora in a fit of "Yay makeup!" glee. I've always been a drugstore eyeshadow kind of girl, but after looking at the prices, I'm not sure the drugstore stuff is a better deal.

Also found through that site: Birchbox Apparently, it's $10/month and they send you fancy samples of beauty products based on your tastes, etc. It seems like a really fun concept. I totally have it bookmarked it for when I have more of a monetary cushion.

Right. So. I'm gonna go get a cookie now. *sighs in defeat*

There are several truths I could tell you about Kassie here. I'll stick with she is mean for now, but you never know. Three months from now she might arbitrarily mainline Pokemon and then ride that wave for six weeks. IT'S ENTIRELY POSSIBLE!
