So, tonight I'm going to see Cory Branan. I have to go get all fancy and stuff shortly, but I found myself with some free time and...
IDEK, you guys.
missyjack posted this and I was like, "AW I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!" and I've been thinking about this scene all day so, yeah. I warn you, Misha only makes a brief appearance here. This is totally self-indulgent on my part. I didn't even make Kassie read it before I posted.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4 and Part 5

Jared thinks that Misha will be impossible to live with now. As if he weren't already

Jared is pacing back and forth in his trailer, getting more and more irritated while Jensen sits there and watches him. And eats an apple.
"Your boyfriend is a dick," Jared finally says, stopping in front of Jensen and pointing.
"No, that's great, man. Could you say that a little louder?"
"Whatever." Jared waves the comment away and starts pacing again. "Where does he get off fucking with Genevieve like that? What if she thought he was really hitting on her?" What if she wanted him to? Like Misha Fucking Collins didn't have everyone else panting at his feet. He couldn't leave her alone?
Jensen rolls his eyes. "I'm pretty sure she was in on it," he says around a mouth full of apple.
"Whatever." Of course Jensen would defend him, like he wasn't at all upset to see Misha smarming at Genevieve. Except that he totally was, Jared saw his face. "And, yeah! What about how he treated you in all this?"
"Me?" Jensen raises his eyebrows like Jared suggested that his trailer existed in an alternate dimension. "Don't bring me into this."
"He didn't consider your feelings." Jared gives him a triumphant look at this obvious point of Misha's dickery.
"No. No, okay, dude. You need to step off the crazy train." He gets up to chuck his apple core in the trash and then flops back down on the couch. "Misha was playing a joke. You maybe need to examine why you're so pissed off about it."
"Maybe because he's a dick?"
"Christ." Two seconds later someone knocks at the door. "Come in," Jensen says.
"Go away," Jared says at the same time as he shoots Jensen a dirty look. He feels as though maybe Jensen isn't quite taking him seriously.
"Ladies," Misha says as he steps in to the trailer like he fucking owns the place. He's dressed in his Castiel clothes, but he obviously hasn't been through make-up yet.
"Go away." Jared says again and, contrary to what the look Jensen shoots him would suggest, Jared is fully aware that he sounds like a petulant two year-old. This doesn't change the fact that right now what he really wants to do is punch Misha's stupid face.
"I just have a question for you, numb-nuts."
Jared tilts his head and gives Jensen a pleading look. Jensen shakes his head 'no' because apparently he's decided to be a dick, too.
"Fine." Jared crosses his arms over his chest and makes a point of looming over Misha. "What?"
"Have you bothered to ask her out?" Misha mimics Jared's pose and looks at him curiously.
"What?" The question doesn't quite register.
Misha rolls his eyes. "Genevieve. Have you asked her out on a date? I assume what you want to do is date her, otherwise your panties wouldn't be in such a twist right now."
Jared chooses to ignore the panties comment for the moment. "A date?"
"Dinner, movie, maybe dancing," Misha says.
"Yeah, I know what a date is." Christ. Jared gets that sinking feeling in his stomach like that time he forgot his mom's birthday.
It must show on his face, because Jensen sits forward and says, "You're kidding me, right? I've been listening to you bitch for months and you haven't actually asked her out?"
Jared shoots Jensen a you're fucking one to talk look, even though he knows it's not exactly comparable. "I've hit on her a lot," he says weakly. "I'm the world's biggest jackass."
Misha smiles at that.
Someone outside yells, "Collins!"
"Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go get pretty. You can thank me later, Jared." Misha starts to leave, then turns back. "One more thing? Don't try to sleep with her on the first date." Then he winks at Jensen and makes his exit.
Jared rolls his eyes as Misha closes the door behind him.
"I'm surprised you let that one go," Jensen says.
"Yeah, well." Jared sighs. "I kinda deserved it, right?"
Jensen is nice enough not to agree with him out loud.
"So, did Misha wink at you before he left?" Jared asks.
"Yeah, so that was weird, right?" Jensen asks. "Does he wink at you?"
"No." Jared can't quite keep the annoyed expression off of his face. "What do you think it means?"
"Christ, dude, I don't know." Jensen runs a hand over his face. "It's Misha."
Clearly they're going to have another Misha discussion at home. Jared's just not up for it right now.
"So, I'm gonna go find Gen."
"Yeah, you do that." Jensen dismisses him with a wave of his hand.
Jared finds Genevieve chatting with one of the extras like they've been best buddies for years and he stops and watches her for a moment. She's gets along so well with everyone, is such a genuinely sweet and caring person, but has this wicked sense of humor that she has no trouble keeping up with the boy's club here.
So he stands there and watches her and wonders when it went from jokingly hitting on the hot new girl to, well, this. This thing where he can feel the goofy smile on his face when she's around. Where he gets up in the morning and the first thing he thinks is, "Do I get to see Genevieve today?"
The extra walks off suddenly and Genevieve turns to see him standing there like a gigantic idiot, which means he pretty much has to go talk to her now. He walks over to where she's standing, shoves his hands in his pockets and says, "Hey."
She laughs. "Hey. What's up?"
"So, uh." Oh, God. Just do it! he thinks, but it's really been awhile since he's felt this level of awkward. "Yeah, so would you want to go out with me sometime? Like to dinner?"
"Are you asking me out on a date, Padalecki?"
"Yeah." Jared takes one hand out of his pocket to rub the back of his neck. "Something like that. If you're interested."
She bites her bottom lip for a moment, then smiles. "Yeah. I'd like that."
"Cool. Excellent! Saturday?"
She nods and all Jared can think is, She has a beautiful smile.
"Okay." Jared rocks back on his heels and decides that the best thing for him to do now is make a hasty exit before he makes any more of an idiot out of himself. "I'm gonna go now. We'll talk. Later. About details and stuff."
Her smile gets bigger, but she has the decency not to laugh at him. "Okay."
"Cool." He turns and walks away, relieved to find that nobody else witnessed that. And by nobody, he means Misha. He's going to be impossible to live with now as it is.
