OMG U GUYZ LESS THAN AN HOUR!!! *FLAPS*

I have been utterly stupid all day today, sort of blah and fuzzy-headed. Unable to even amuse myself with some sort of imaginary boy antics. THIS IS A SRS LEVEL OF BRAINDEAD 4 REALS!!!

Also, we had our office Thanksgiving Lunch thing and I ate waaaaaaay too much. Moderation, I know it not. I come home to find that my roommate has made approximately six hundred chocolate chip and bacon cookies. I'm not quite sure how to feel about this. I'll let you know when I've come to a decision. Right now I'm leaning towards this being an unholy violation of foods most precious to me.

Whatever, I don't even know. My head is full of static and nothingness. Maybe my brain is saving up all its thinking for SPN. HEY, IT'S POSSIBLE!!

Did she make those cookies on... purpose? Like, did bacon accidentally fall into the batter?

Julia loves bacon chocolate chip cookies. I think what's happening w/ that is a combo of the current trend in salty sweet food and that whole ummami/sweet flavor of eating like syrup on bacon.

My roommate made pumpkin cupcakes with bacon a few weeks ago and they were surprisingly good! Though that may be because I picked out all the bacon. Heh.

I do believe the baconing was intentional. IDEK. What do you do with that?

I just feel like, idk, both the cookie and the bacon are desecrated in this union.

This is my dubious face. *dubious face*

Of course, I recently discovered that, much to my chagrin, my mom was right about peanut butter and dill pickle sandwiches. So who knows?

Hmmm. I just don't know! I mean, I love bacon and I love cookies. I JUST DON'T KNOW THAT I CAN HANDLE THEM TOGETHER. Picking bacon out of anything just seems wrong somehow.

No, bacon works really well with chocolate, especially dark chocolate. It's the combination of salt and sweet -- similar to all of those caramels that are sprinkled with a touch of sea salt. The two flavors each serve to amp up the other flavor. Every chocolate cake recipe I've ever made includes some salt.

Which is to say, try the cookies!
