Fireworks? Really?
Jun. 14th, 2009 07:42 pmI had popcorn for dinner. Yeah, I'm an adult.
Because of the CMA Music Festival that was this weekend, I was awoken by fireworks at 12:45 a.m. last night. SO. NOT. ON.
FYI, being woken up in the middle of the night* makes me rage like just about nothing else in the world. Especially when I have to get up at 5:30. I am not a morning person. I need my sleep.
I think I'm going to just give up and go to bed. I wrote more Misha fic, but not a large enough part to post. I will meditate on what happens next and post another part tomorrow. Too stupid tired to do anything. Ugh.
Before I go to bed, though, may I just say that the GQMF thing makes me laugh so hard. (This one is my all-time ultimate favorite, but the whole trend is endlessly amusing to me. ♥)
And now beds for me. Barring, idk, attack by wild dogs, I should be in much better shape tomorrow.
*The caveat to this is, of course, if you need a) to be driven to the hospital, b) to be bailed out of jail, c) a ride home because you are too drunk to drive or d) someone to talk out emotional trauma with. I'm that friend. I will totes be grumpy the next day and really really prefer that these things take place on the weekend when I can sleep in. But still, my friends may wake me at any hour for these things without fear of repercussions. This is how I roll.
