So, today at work we were talking about Sam and Dean, as you do.

kadiel_krieger: [Dean was] willing to sacrifice himself, but couldn’t even entertain the idea of sacrificing Sam.

Me: Yeah. Dean is, perhaps, the most easily manipulated person on the planet. Everyone knows how to get to him.

Dean: No! Never! I will fight you!

Bad Guy: ORLY ? I will cut Sam.

Dean: FINE! YOU WIN! I will do whatever you ask of me. *defeated*

Bad Guy: You are my bitch now, JSYK!!!

SAM, OTOH is just as easily manipulated, but in a slightly different fashion...

Sam: No! Never! I will fight you!

Bad Guy: ORLY ? I will cut Dean!

Sam: OMGWTF I WILL KEEL YOU!!! I WILL FLAY YOU ALIVE!! I WILL FEAST ON YOUR FLESH AND GRIND YOUR BONES TO DUST AND FIRE AND SALT THE EARTH!!! I WILL DANCE ON YOUR GRAVE IN CELEBRATION OF MY TRIUMPH!! THEN I WILL RESURRECT YOU AND DO IT AGAIN!!!

Bad Guy: Erm, so, I can see we’re not going to see eye to eye on this. Look, just forget I mentioned it, okay? Really.

Sam: *KILLS HIM DEAD WITH HIS BRAIN*

MEANWHILE, BACK IN HELL...

Demon: Sam Winchester?

Bad Guy: FML.

This thought amused me for a good three hours, anyway. Some days that is all you can ask for.

I've seen this a few times but haven't commented yet because I didn't have a comment that wasn't the generic, "Yep, this is totally them. You're awesome."

I just reread this, though, and thought, "You know, Sam and Dean are wicked codependent. I think they have bipolar disorder together. Dean's got the depression covered and Sam's all over those manic episodes." 'cause, you know, when he goes into those manic episodes, he does some crazy shit. True, he doesn't go max out his his credit card or buy a last minute ticket to Paris or quite his job - typical behavior of severe manic episodes - but crazy shit none the less.
